Micah said that all the honest people are gone. He said that they should not trust anyone;
not their neighbors, not their friends, not even their wives. Micah said that children didn’t
honor and obey their parents. It was what the prophets had told them.
Have the children colour in the verse.
But Micah’s hope was in the Lord, “I will look to the Lord. I'll put my trust in God my Savior.
He will hear me.”
Two puzzle shaped pices need to be removed, so they can be glued back in.
Micah continued saying that their enemies laughed because they have fallen but they will get
back up. They may sit in the dark but the Lord will give them light. Micah said that God was
angry but He would do what is right, and God would bring them out into the light and save
them.
The words Justly, Mercy, and Humbly need to be removed, and a line put in their place so they can be written back in. At the bottom of the picture, in small letters, write the words, so the children can see how they are spelt.
Micah expressed his trust in God. “Lord, who is a God like you? You forgive sin. You forgive
your people when they do what is wrong. You don't stay angry forever. Instead, you take
delight in showing your faithful love to them.”
Jesus and the man being hugged can be coloured.
Micah said that God would show “loving concern for His people.” He said that God would
wipe out their evil and throw their “sins to the bottom of the sea." Micah proclaimed that God
would be faithful and show His love to His people. Micah knew that God would do what He
promised. (Micah 7:18-20 NIrV) We can be forgiven, too. “Because of what the Son has
done, we have been set free. Because of him, all of our sins have been forgiven.” (Colossians
1:14 NIrV)
The cross and the shackles can be coloured.
The chapter ends with prayer and praise. “Lord, be like a shepherd to your people. Take good
care of them. They are your flock.”
Have the mentioned veres added to the picture, and remove the word Shepherd, leaving a line in its place, and beside it in brackets scramble the word shepherd.
Have the memory verse prinyed on the bottom of a blank piece of paper, and then have this cross sized to fit in the space above the words, but print it separate, so the children can glue it in.
